The Euphoria farm owned by Kourkoulakos family is located in the southern side of Kefalonia island and is devoted to the organic farming of the vineyard and olive grove, all the while holding a strong focus on biodynamic farming elements.
The 1.3-hectare vineyard is located in mountainous, poor, rocky limestone soils, arranged in terraces at about 600-650 meters, planted in 1950 with ungrafted, bush-trained vines of the local Robola grape. The olive grove extends over an area of 4 hectares where Dopia, Thiaki and Mouzela grapes are growing.
Euphoria is known for its traditional products, such as tsipouro, olive oil, vinegar and petimezi, but the star of its production is the organic and all-natural Robola of Kefalonia grape, which is fermented with the local wild yeasts and is neither filtered nor stabilized in any way.
