The Georgas Family is located in the historical area of Spata, the center of retsina and the unexplored Savatiano white grape, where they can trace their agriculture roots 380 years back. They cultivate their 4.5 ha of estate owned dryvineyards biodynamically, with very low yields (21 hectoliters / ha). Vinification is natural, through spontaneous fermentation, no intervention, no sulphur (for most wines), and up to a week of skin contact, which gives their wines a characteristic bronze color.

Spata is a suburb outside of Athens, the capital of Greece. Spata is known for its long tradition around wine growing and the retsina wine. It is also known for its close proximity to the largest airport of Greece, Eleftherios Venizelos.

Athens, is the capital and largest city of Greece. It is also one of the oldest cities in the world, with an immense historical and cultural importance. It is considered the cradle of western civilization, giving birth to ideas and sciences, such as democracy, philosophy, and theater. One can admire many monuments of the ancient and more recent glory of Athens, such as the Parthenon, the Syntagma square, the National Museum of Archaeology, the ancient area of Plaka, and more.
